Things to know before booking your Guggenheim Museum tickets
All guests must go through a mandatory security check before entering the museum. Skip the line tickets will let you bypass ticket lines but you will still have to go through security. Keep in mind that during peak hours, security checks might include some waiting time.
Although your tickets have an entry time, there is no time limit to how long you can stay inside. Please feel at liberty to take your time while exploring the museum.
Mondays are the busiest at the Guggenheim Museum. For a more relaxed experience, plan your visit on any other weekday, preferably during the morning hours.
Strollers are allowed inside the museum, however, baby backpacks are not. You may take soft, front-facing carriers. Additionally, if you’d like to rent a stroller, please note that the museum only has a limited number of strollers available for public use. Your best bet is to visit during non-peak hours.
There is a coat check facility at the museum, however, items and bags larger than 22 x 14 x 9 inches are not allowed inside.
If you’re looking for inspiration and would like to sketch inside the museum, please note that pencils, sketchbooks, and notebooks are allowed, while pens, paints, and easels are not.
The Guggenheim Museum is wheelchair accessible. All levels except the High Gallery can be accessed by wheelchair. Additionally, transcripts for audio guides are available with the digital guide. Service animals are welcome inside the museum.
