  • Starry Nights is designed for adults; families with kids may want to stick to daytime visits for the full interactive experience.
  • You’re welcome to take photos, but large equipment must stay home.
  • NYBG offers free entry for active members and discounts through programs like Culture Pass via the NYC library system. Every Wednesday, New York residents get reduced or free access (with limited exhibit eligibility).
  • Taking Metro-North to the Botanical Garden station drops you right at the entrance. Visitors commend it as safe, easy, and preferable to driving.
  • The Tram Tour, included with your general admission ticket, lets you hop on/off at nine stops, a great way to navigate the 250-acre grounds without tiring your legs.
