From gorillas to gharials: Bronx Zoo exhibits to explore

Congo Gorilla Forest is a 6.5-acre rainforest habitat showcasing Central African species. The immersive exhibit features stark vegetation, streams, and interactive educational displays.
It is also a major site for conservation fundraising and research, and provides an opportunity to observe gorillas and other rainforest species closely.

African Plains is a signature exhibit at the Bronx Zoo, designed to replicate the savannas of Africa.
It allows visitors to observe predators and prey in naturalistic settings, separated by moats rather than cages. The exhibit features expansive habitats and close-up viewing areas for some species.
