SUMMIT One Vanderbilt has three entrances: the first is through the Transit Hall of One Vanderbilt, the second is a street-level entrance on 45 East 42nd Street, and the third is via the Main Concourse Level of Grand Central Terminal.

One Vanderbilt entrance

You can enter SUMMIT One Vanderbilt through the Transit Hall of One Vanderbilt. This entrance is located at the intersection of Vanderbilt Avenue and 43rd Street. It is open to all visitors. Please note that SUMMIT is not accessible through the main lobby of One Vanderbilt.

  • How to reach: The easiest way to get here is through subway lines 4, 5, 6, and 7, and the Shuttle at Grand Central, 42nd Street. Walk straight to this entrance from the Grand Central Station. You can also take a cab directly to this entrance. 
  • Entrance timings: You can enter SUMMIT One Vanderbilt from 9 AM to 11 PM every day, except on Tuesdays when it remains closed.
  • Average wait time: We recommended reaching at least 45-60 minutes before the time specified on your ticket.
  • Wheelchair accessible: Yes

Street-Level entrance

Another way to access SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is through the entrance at 45 East 42nd Street, between Vanderbilt and Madison Avenues. This entrance can be used by all visitors, including groups, and individual visitors with tickets.

  • How to reach: You can walk or take a cab directly to this entrance. This entrance can also be accessed through subway lines 4, 5, 6, and 7, and the Shuttle at Grand Central, 42nd Street. 
  • Entrance timings: You can enter SUMMIT One Vanderbilt from 9 AM to 11 PM every day, except on Tuesdays when it remains closed.
  • Average wait time: The waiting time for this SUMMIT One Vanderbilt entrance is at least 45-60 minutes. We recommend booking your tickets in advance to keep waiting time to a minimum.

Grand Central Terminal entrance

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is also accessible through the Main Concourse Level of Grand Central Station. This entrance is open to all visitors.

  • How to reach: Take a subway to Grand Central Station through lines 4, 5, 6, 7, or S. From the main concourse, walk through the Vanderbilt Passage to enter One Vanderbilt.

Disabled Access - SUMMIT One Vanderbilt entrance

All entrances are accessible by wheelchair. There are ramps at the entrances and elevators to take you up to all the floors. You can ask the staff for recommendations on the best route for you. Wheelchairs are available at the venue on a first come first serve basis.

You can choose any of the three SUMMIT One Vanderbilt entrances as all of them are open to all visitors including guests with disabilities, groups, and individual visitors with online tickets.

Queues at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt:

  • Upon entering the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt basement, you will go through a security check and a preparation queue. The waiting time for these queues can be 45-60 mins.
  • If you haven't booked your tickets online, tickets are also available onsite. You will see a separate queue for tickets at the kiosks, once you reach the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt basement. The additional waiting time at the ticket queues can be 30-45 mins.
