How long should I spend at Top of the Rock?

We recommend you set aside 2-3 hours for your visit to Top of the Rock. The observation deck is a popular attraction in New York so you can expect long queues at the elevator to the 70th floor. Spend at least an hour at the observation decks to take in the breathtaking views and capture memorable photos. Factor in about 30 minutes to try out The Beam experience where you’ll recreate the iconic 1932 photo ‘Lunch Atop a Skyscraper’. Take a snack break at The Weather Room before you leave.
